History: A stray tomcat was trying to make its way throughout Stephen King's idea of the world, when it started receiving visions of a girl begging it to help her from a vile creature. Said creature was a troll looking to steal her soul every night. The cat, named General, got there, but found that if the troll wouldn’t kill him, the parents' mistrust probably would.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After escaping execution, the cat fights the troll one last time, tricking it into spinning on a record player and getting flung into a box fan, shredding it to pieces. After all the havoc this cat's born witness to, he finally catches a break.

Powers/Abilities: Can enter our world through a secret passage in the wall only it can summon, and good intelligence.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Adult fear is in overdrive when this ugly monster is around. Unpleasant on the eyes, and smart enough to get away with murder, we're glad that cat got the last drop on him.

Trivia: -That little girl was a young Drew Barrymore, previously seen in "E.T." and "Firestarter", and with a later childhood mired in drugs and rehab. At least she got back on her feet career-wise...oh wait, she got suckered into Adam Sandler films later on. Dang.

-The other stories in this anthology film, "Quitters, Inc." and "The Ledge", were adapted from Stephen King stories. The last one was purely original.
